    Maria, Bulacan; Jose Mari Bacolod Navarro of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Malolos, Bulacan; Ronald Allan Doma of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Plaridel, Bulacan; Jerome Completo of the San Isidro Labrador Parish, Valenzuela City; and Vince Joseph Inocencio of the National Shrine and Parish of St. Parishes nominated those whom they believe to manifest zeal in their service both inside and outside liturgical celebrations and whose leadership have an exemplary impact on other youth. Lakbay-Tugon is a annual seminary-sponsored diocesan event which aims not only to promote camaraderie among altar servers but also “to deepen altar servers’ understanding of their role in lay empowerment, of the universal call to holiness, and of the priestly vocation.” Formerly called as Sacristans’ Day, it took a break from 2014 to 2016 and resumed in 2017 with the name Lakbay-Tugon.

    Maria Gorretti Parish, Manila, gave the priests and religious four points to ponder on, during the official closing of the Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Persons in the Diocese of Malolos on Nov. He asked, “How do we continue Christ’s work?” According to Concepcion, this is can be done by meditating on the following points: What do we need to do?; What we do, we do out of love; When we do out of love, we increase our faith in God; and When we act out of love, we always think of what we should hope for. Tribute to the clergy and religious The clergy and religious communities of the Diocese of Malolos began the celebration with a Holy Mass led by Cubao Bishop and Malolos Apostolic Administrator Honesto Ongtioco at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in this city. The faithful attended various activities to honor the priests and religious serving the local communities in the diocese.
